Mountain Bike Chain Guide Installation. Designed to keep your bike quiet and efficient whilst minimizing wear. The STFU drive-train units contain your chain when things get rough – preventing chain slap and noise from your frame but also preventing your chain from over-extending sideways.
Chain wear tool: A typical chain wear tool hooks over one roller (or pin) in your chain while the other end inserts in the opening between two rollers. Remove any excess links from the new chain using the chain breaker tool, and install the master link. Chain slap annoys the heck out of me, and often leads to dropped chains on rough terrain.

Run New Chain Through Drivetrain NOTE: Bike will have one of two styles of Stems: Quill and Threadless.
